BANDIER, the first luxury destination for FASHION, FITNESS and MUSIC, is excited to announce its release of three new artmeets-activewear capsule collections. Inspired by the new and emerging multimedia art showcased at Art Basel, BANDIER has produced two in-house collaborative capsule collections, pairing London artist, Malarko Hernandez, with activewear brand, Ultracor; and NYC creative director, Christopher Lee Sauvé, with activewear brand, Strut-This. The third collection — which will be exclusively available at BANDIER for 6-months prior to being released to other retailers — is a collaboration with LA-based street artist, Upendo Taylor. Reebok worked with celebrity yoga instructor and Reebok ambassador, Tara Stiles, to conceptualize the idea for street art inspired yoga wear.
The collaborators relished the opportunity to express themselves in this novel medium. “I was very inspired by primitive art and marrying this with pop culture, resulting in an energetic, bold print,” explains Christopher Lee Sauvé, who’s new print will be displayed on three pairs of leggings and two crop tops made by Strut-This in their signature super soft, one-size-fits-all cotton fabric.
Each limited edition capsule collection will launch on December 2nd — immediately prior to Art Basel Miami Beach 2015 — and will be available exclusively at BANDIER stores as well as online at www.BANDIER.com
